I personally don't have a gaming PC so when developers specifically tailor there RTS's towards the console fans, you can tell the difference. So next RTS will be Halo Wars then, looks intriguing.
Great analogy. It has been taken out of the 'oven' so to speak as you said. The question is, can the multitude of technical flaws be fixed before the PS3 and PC releases?
I still might give EndWar a go, even though I will look like a complete knob by doing it. I like the ability to use either voice commands or the controller.
I'm the same Super, I can't wait until Mistwalker release some info on their next RPG, CryOn. Sakaguchi is a genius, when he gets some other top thinkers and developers around him, Mistwalker will be a strong force in the gaming industry.
That is why I enjoy games with 'tangible' consequences, it becomes a mirror into how the person portrays themselves in society.
For me there is nothing like a 'good'(notice what I did there) JRPG. No other genre has the narrative, character development or sheer length that a 'good' JRPG can have, that is why the 'good' JRPG's have the ability to define an entire generation.
Look at FF7 for example, whenever the PS1 is brought up, I immediately think of FF7. The experience Square Enix have consistently delivered is what made them the premier JRPG developers (well atleast they used to be).
I a...
Everyone claims Uncharted has some of the best graphics, but I don't know, it doesn't really stand out to me. I mean, I haven't actually played more than a few hours of the game, but from what I have seen, it is a fairly limiting, linear environment (same with Gears).
I am more personally impressed with titles with scope, take Assassins Creed for example, the open vistas are visually impressive whilst displaying huge landscapes.
Thoughts?
Sounds somewhat disappointing. I want to see another 1080 game...
Unfortunately the 'extremists' in any political/religious group, mare the overall perception of the group in question. The general public seem to paint an entire demographic with the same brush, based on a select few peoples opinions.
For me personally, the Resident Evil franchise is a pure, single player experience. I will give co-op a go, though only after I have completed the game in SP.
I agree, cut scenes should be unskippable (not really a word) the first time you play. Have some patience and play the game how it is meant to be played.
Seriously, 3 disks.... um... did I miss something, having a (presumably) 20-25 game span across 3 disks, is considered bad? How?
For people claiming 'inconvenience', that is truly scraping the bottom of the barrel.
I agree Jolly, I really don't appreciate 3/4 of the achievements/trophies being focused on the online component. As you said, when everyone abandons an online community, you basically can't get them any more.
Braid is a must play, the best arcade game I have played on XBLA and a true work of art, play it now gaminoz.
Interesting choice Jenzo, my pick is also not one of the AAA titles, Lost Odyssey.
Hooray!!! Some intelligent, thought provoking statements on N4G, from the usual suspects I might add.
I personally enjoyed the games MS put out this year (as a whole), should I be berated and ridiculed for my preference, oh wish it wasn't the case but it seems to that peoples opinions can't be respected if they sway away from the 'norm'.
How about we all just get on with it and enjoy the excellent games this console generation has provided.
Peace.
I remember at the end of AC, one of the writings said Quezacolt? I'm not exactly sure but isn't it some type of mythical Aztec bird god? Maybe it could be set during the reign of the Aztecs?
I think people need to appreciate AC for what it is, an intriguing game set in an amazing time period. The scope of the game was immense, environments beautifully realised and the city-scapes were faithful recreations of historically important locations.
It was for me more than just a game, it was an experience.
I would personally love to see AC2 (or 3) go to ancient Greece, specifically during the upheaval of the Ionian Revolt and subsequent beginning of the Persia...
Thanks BrotherSic, great news that it is also getting looked at and hopefully patched.
Bubbles for you.
So if I loved Oblivion I will love Fallout 3? How does that old statement stand, "Fallout 3 is Oblivion with guns"?
